Early Career Short Course
Programme Date: 6-8 September 2024
Are you an early career atmospheric chemist looking to learn more about atmospheric chemistry and expand your network of peers? Apply to attend the 2024 IGAC Early Career Short Course, 6-8 September 2024 before the main conference!
Scientists in a Ph.D. or Master’s Program, or within 3 years of graduation, are welcome to apply. If you have previously attended an IGAC Early Career Short Course, you are not eligible to attend again.
The Early Career Short Course is designed by an international committee of early career researchers, with guidance from the IGAC Scientific Steering Committee. Lectures, networking opportunities, and hands-on workshops are all part of the experience. The program is capped at 40 participants, competitively chosen. Past participants have stated that they felt like they “made a network for life!”
Attendees will receive need-based travel grants to attend the short course and, if needed, the main conference. Attendees are required to submit an abstract to the main conference at Oxford Abstracts.
