Dr. Royston Uning
National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), Japan

Royston Uning is a Research Associate for the Global Atmospheric Chemistry Section at the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), JAPAN. His current work focuses on ground- and ship-based observations of biogenic and anthropogenic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the atmosphere that can act as a climate forcing and or have implications for air quality. His research profile was featured in one of the Surface Ocean – Lower Atmosphere Study (SOLAS) research project workshop reports, “Frontiers in ocean-atmosphere exchange: Air-sea interface and fluxes of mass and energy” which was held at the Institut d’Etudes Scientifiques de Cargèse (IESC), FRANCE. He currently serves as one of the SOLAS Southeast Asia Regional Panel.
